In short: we store your email address only if you give it to us, plus anonymous counts of how the page is used. No cookies, no advertising or third-party trackers, no IP addresses in our database.

No cookies
We set no cookies. The random session id is kept in your browser's session storage and is deleted when you close the tab. It is not linked to your email or to any other site. If you open the page with ?notrack=1, we stop counting your visits on that device.
Who else processes data
The site runs on Cloudflare (Cloudflare Pages and its D1 database), which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the page and protect it from abuse. Cloudflare acts as our processor and may process data outside the EU under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Our email address hello@shiporskip.eu is forwarded through Cloudflare Email Routing. We do not sell or share your data with anyone else.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to its use, by emailing hello@shiporskip.eu. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link. You can also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
